AASI freshers Gala Night 2017
This year’s AASI Fresher’s Welcome Gala Night is a party scripted to signal the beginning of hard work and fun for new African students in around Delhi NCR and what they would be paging through for the coming years during the course of their studies in India. The Fresher’s party will be all about making the best start to the new academic year. A time to create everlasting relationships amongst African students being one of our core objectives which is to unite and encourage cooperation amongst its members. This Fresher’s Gala Night will be an indication of union for all African students. The tentative date for this event is 7th of October, 2017.
One of the major problems African students face studying in India is not having proper information regarding the immigration dos aand don’ts and that has always put students in a situation whereby they are cut in between. Having identified this as a problem, one good way of tackling this issue is getting the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) involved to give students the right orientation about Indian Immigration laws.
For the freshers Gala event, the Association of African Students in India will be partnering with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office to give orientation to new students.
